☘️ March Learning Sparks

Watercolor landscape featuring a red house, sun, and a tree with the text:

There was a time in March we’d be celebrating the NEW YEAR! March was the start of the year for the Romans. Because this is when Spring begins, it was used as the beginning of the year, the perfect time for fighting each other! This is why March was named after Mars – the Roman god of war.

We celebrate the luckiest of holidays this month: St. Patrick’s day – that is, it’s lucky unless you happen to be a Leprechaun! We learn we are all more than a Scribble, with National Scribble day. March  is also the month we test our cookie stacking skills with Oreo Cookie day!

Take a look at the unique March holidays designed to help you make memories and build relationships. We hope you’ll learn something new as well! Happy March!
