Origami Fortune Teller

Description

The Origami Fortune Teller has been used in the United States since at least the 1960s. They are thought to have been used to catch lice and were often called Cootie Catchers. 

(This is not very appealing now!)

Origami is the ancient Japanese art of Paper Folding. Celebrate World Origami Day, November 11th with these cootie catcher fortunes!

 Some call these a  paper fortune teller because when you lift the flap your “fortune” is revealed. The Origami Fortune Teller is fun for all ages.  Fortune Tellers are a great way to introduce paper folding into your curriculum and reduce screen time.
