Any game using a deck of cards qualifies as a ‘card game’.  Today’s holiday was started by the popular card-manufacturing company Bicycle.

Fun Fact: During World War II, Bicycle cards produced cards that when submerged in water,  could be peeled apart and both halves showed a map. When the entire deck was put together, it made a large map. This map was designed to help prisoners of war if they escaped.
