Description
January Holiday of the Day copywork in a trace over font is perfect for your beginning-level writers. This set of 31 copywork pages comes in 2 trace over styles to choose from:
Trace over with guides
or just trace over.
You can choose what your child needs.
Trace over with guides has directional arrows and numbers so little learners know each step of letter formation as they trace. This allows you to focus on other aspects of handwriting such as posture and grip.
Each page is designed to coordinate with the January Holiday of the Day and contains a simple sentence,* a variety of punctuation and when possible common symbols such as the ampersand (&) colon (:) or dash (-). The pages also contain graphics your little artist can color relating to the sentence or holiday of the day.
Copywork is a great way to learn grammar, spelling and handwriting all at once!

Why Copywork is Important
Copywork helps your children learn correct letter formation as well as grammar, spelling, & punctuation.
The fun topics lead to discussions in the fields of science & technology, history, and math. Because each page also has an element to color, you can hang these on your brag board when complete!
Copywork is easy to incorporate into your morning meeting time or to assign as independent practice (for older kids).
If you have multiple kids at different handwriting levels- consider our FAMILY PACK, it’s discounted and contains Trace over, Manuscript and Cursive so you can meet the needs of all your children!
