Please see our full disclosure for further information.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDid you know that Tea is the second most consumed beverage in the world? (Not in MY world 😂 – but the world)\n\n\n\nHere are some things you may not know about Tea:\n\n\n\n\nThe most expensive tea in the world is called Pu-erh tea, and it can cost up to $1,000 per pound. \n\n\n\n The English language word “tea” comes from the Chinese word “t’e”. \n\n\n\n Tea was discovered in China around 2737 BC by Emperor Shen Nung. \n\n\n\nThere are over 1,500 varieties of tea, including green, black, white and oolong. \n\n\n\nTea is the national drink of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Malaysia.\n\n\n\nTea is naturally low in calories and can help speed up your metabolism. \n\n\n\n In some cultures, tea is used as a medicine to treat various ailments. \n\n\n\nTea can help reduce stress and improve mental alertness.\n\n\n\n Tea contains antioxidants that can help prevent cancer and heart disease.\n\n\n\n\nNational Tea Day was created by The Tea Council of the U.S.A in 2016. It is a day to honor the role of tea in the world’s history, and to recognize the positive impact it has had on global health.\n\n\n\nFun things you can do to celebrate National Hot tea day: \n\n\n\nDrink your favorite blend of hot tea! \n\n\n\nWe also recommend holding a tea party – even if it’s just for your Teddy Bears. \n\n\n\nStudy the Boston Tea Party ( https://happyhivehomeschooling.com/what-is-todays-holiday/boston-tea-party-day/ )\n\n\n\nResearch the origins of Tea\n\n\n\nAdd these for more tea party fun: \n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n \n Angelina Ballerina and the Tea Party \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n $4.64\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Get this on Amazon \n\n \n \n We earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.
